Family adventure in the Galapagos!

We had the privilege of traveling to the Galapagos Archipelago last month. In fact, we left a month ago today! How can time pass so quickly? How dare it? We only spent ten days in our travels, and really, that's no excuse for why I haven't been blogging, but... I haven't.

However, this morning and tomorrow morning, my two-part TravelQuest articles on our venture will be in the North Texas e-News, our "local" internet newspaper. I invite you to read and then decide when you'll be making this journey because it's truly worth it!

This fall my husband and I had the opportunity of a lifetime to travel around the world with Smithsonian Journeys. Today begins my three-part TravelQuest article on our internet newspaper, the North Texas e-News.

Where to go for the photos

My first TravelQuest article for the North Texas eNews is up today. Here's the URL. The remaining ones should go up Tuesday and Thursday.

It was hard to reduce 16 days and 270 photos into three articles and three dozen photos, but I didn't want anyone going to sleep. When I was a little girl, our neighbor traveled extensively in Mexico. He'd always bring home the movies, invite the neighborhood to supper, start the projector--and then go to sleep himself!

Really, you can't make up stuff like that.
